- I'm a Junior at Hewitt-Trussville High school. I play the flute and love to read and write. I chose my topic because I believed that Americans undervalue art in all its forms and I wanted to know why, and how it effects our society. Being a musician and a potiential English major I wanted to know how the "ordinary person" really felt about art and why they tend to shy away from it.
